Is it THEN A Reunión DE HACKERS?

Not alone is it a hackers encounter. Neither is it a people's encounter interested in the new technologies and in their social aspects. It is people's encounter interested in the new ones technologies and in their social aspects that is carried out in a space liberated of Bilbao, the one Gaztetxe of Leioa.

Last year it took place, for the first time, in Les Naus of Barcelona. The name is lent of the Italian Hackmeetings, that are taking place from 1998 in Social centers Okupados and in those that we have been inspired.

WHO ar YOU?

A people group coming from diverse corners of the net, interested in putting hands to the work. The organization and coordination is made through a list, open to anyone who wants to contribute ideas, to collaborate or 'lurking'.

Why do you MAKE THIS?

This is to be a meeting without more pretenses than to speak among nosotr@s that we know each other for the most part by mail of a thousand histories ' cibersubversivas', and to take air amid the offensive of the ' Sistema' against Internet, an education place and communication liberates that doesn't want to stop to be it.

The radiance of the big movements in bag or the reiterated intents of control on the part of corporations and governments seem to have eclipsed or discouraged to their inhabitants that attempt, many times in solitary, to ride out the storm creating opinion, offering information voluntarily or inventing new routes and programs, to escape from the pressure y/o for amusement.

Our intention is to unite these voices that you/they even believe that we have the it forces, inside of, it was and through the net, to cheer up mutually, to know us and to discuss our visions. Who are? To where we want to go?



What will THE HACKMEETING Consist of?

Basically, in conferences and shops, besides a cycle of cinema ciberpunk, a local net and parties :) But we don't even know that the chats will go exactly.
We are not enough to cover the one that would be almost our list perfect of topics [*] but that will be made that one can. Any interested person in being taken charge of some shop or conference will be well received, also

BUT ON WHAT will it CONSIST THEN'?

The final program of conferences and shops are making right now. This is a completely open system and any singular or group that he/she wants to mount shops and conferences on their favorite topics he/she can make it.

And will they PAY ME THE TRIP IF I GIVE A CHAT?

I don't believe, unless you come from a very very far, there is not very budget.
