There have always been plenty of reasons to oppose to this project, which not only iinvolves the destruction of Nature, but also empties our pockets to fill theirs , those of the ones who laugh at their own illegality and prosecute and imprison opposers. But now, more than ever, the project has become a dead threat.

In spite of tall this the level of water being retained keeps rising. Technicians who have studied the project in the last years have been warning of the several risks it involves. These have been numbered and defined and throughout the last few months they stopped being risks to become reality just in front of our eyes, alerting us of the danger thousands of us are in.

What had been warned it's now happening and Government says nothing about it. But cracks do tell... The cracks opening in the middle of the Dam's contention wall through which a great amount of water flows in (they have been pumping it out with huge pumps).

And so do landslides tell... They occurred during the filling tests and together with the obstruction of drains have made the dam be out of control...

As if it wasn't just enough the continuated earthquakes the Dam has lately been provoking. What else has to happen for them to stop filling tests and inmediately empty the water already contained?

Filling up Itoiz's Dam is nowadays to threaten us with dead. And not only us, the inhabitants of the closest towns, but also all those who live in the lands lately affected by the earthquakes.

Facing all this the Government only speaks up to manipulate and lie: “Anti-earthquake dam” “there's no inducted seismic activity”, “earthquakes are good for the dam”, “There are no geological breaks underneath the Dam”... etc. If everything is so fine, why are the technicians the opposing “Coordinadora” designed denied the entry? How much longer will they try to hide the effects of this monumental bungle?

Every meter the water rises is one more step towards an announced catastrophe.

It is time to movilize and stop it.
