What, when and where?

The hackmeeting is self-organised/-disorganised event where we socialise and exchange experiences of new technologies, their social implications, free circulation of knowledge and techniques, privacy, collective creation, telematic conflict... It is for all those curious people that wish to share theri sills and experiences and live the process of coordination in a participative way among the others. At the Hackmeeting all the activities are held by volunteers. Hey you! Participate!

This year, after 12 years, the Hackmeeting comes back to Barcelona - it will take place in eco-industrial post-capitalist colony Calafou (where?)

Intro

Again this year returns our deep desire to gather around what motivates us the most: hacktivism, cyberspace, culture of free software and hardware.

During this self-managed weekend we will exchange experiences and share technopolitical projects, despite the fact that there is no preconceived idea of what this hackmeeting will become.

It constructs itself in horisontal way by a series of autonomous yet interconnected nodes (talks, workshops, round tables, performances...). Everybody can propose or present a node.

You will find here hacking and hacktivism in the wide (and wild!) sense: machine and protocol hacking as well as hacking of social codes and different ways of understanding and using technology. This edition is specially dedicated to the subject of eco-industry and post-capitalism.

Come and bring your viral ideas, hacks, both IT or mantal ones. Let's copyfight, invent, share distributed networks, free software, music, debates...

If you want to attend to a node at the Hackmeeting, you just need to ask for it or do it yourself!
